I am offering, for the first time, a special four-day intensive, small group workshop at my new studio in Orem, Utah. It is limited to five people and is intended for emerging professionals who are ready to take their work to higher levels and expand the breadth and depth of their visual storytelling.

 

This unique experience will feature personal feedback sessions, visual exercises focusing on value, color, composition, and thematic design, plein air painting, figure painting, and even a unique afternoon mini-workshop on thematic storytelling with a famed contemporary dance choreographer and professor.

 

An intermediate level of oil painting ability and visual design is where the workshop will begin and build from. This is not a "sit and watch me paint for four days" workshop, but rather an opportunity to hone ideas and skills at a level rarely offered by professional artists.

 

Price is $2,500 and includes four full days of instruction, lunches and a closing dinner. Students are responsible for their own travel and accommodations.
